12th March TS

Been an eventful week! The one I have been waiting for for a year! On Tuesday, we (me and alan) got the ferry from Portsmouth across to Brittany. That was overnight. Arrived in Brittany on Wednesday morning and picked Matt up from Rennes. Then was a long drive up to Belgium.
From there, we had to find this really small town called Wanzele to meet the team manager and riders already there at a Pro Kermesse. It took a while to find, and asking a lot of people but we got there.
We met the team manager and another rider, Nick (australian) and realised that we had waayyyyyyy too much stuff. Then drove to house.
Then stuff happened. And first proper training ride was on Friday, where we went out for three hours with Nick, Chris (another australian) and mechanic (mark), and sven (gil - team managers son - team leader). Was good ride - rode some cobbles and climbs. Belgiums a lot hillier than I expected.
Then Sunday came, which was first race. I was so nervous for it. And everyone realised I was. Then first lap of the race I crashed. Tbh, it wasnt my fault, but at the same time if i wasnt so nervous i bet i wouldnt have crashed (if that makes sense).
Didnt come off bad at all, expect bike which is broken. Hangers broken. But today got given team bike so thats all good. Spent the day sorting bike out and doing nothing really.
This week we are doing a big training week with 6hrs tomoro, day after, and then another big one on friday. Then we have a big race on the Monday - a pro kermesse. I hope my license has come by then though. And this time I wont be nervous! (ill try anyway)
Other stuff.. House is really nice. Team managers are really nice. Team mates are really nice. Everything is perfect here really, so it will be agood year.
