I have to do another blog for the team website. www.teamcyclingnews.com. So im going to put that one on here as well. I know im due another one soon. When I have the time between doing nothing and training and doing nothing I will write it!
I’d like to start by reminiscing… When I was 16 I spent an evening as a guest of a good friend watching the biggest professional team registered in Britain being presented for the forthcoming season. Even more specifically I still remember seeing two people who made a big enough impression on me that I still remember them 3 years later. The first was a Belgian rider and the other, was the Belgian manager. However, now the first is my Belgian team-mate and the other is my Belgian manager. That night I was told “one day that will be you” and it makes me proud of myself that after 3 years of hard work it finally is me.
So, that’s all the seriousness I had left in me. I’ll put my violin away, dry my own tears and write again another time!
